Redhill councillors have warned residents that there has been a spate of burglaries in the last 4 weeks and to stay vigilant.

They say you should

• Fit window locks and ensure French windows and patio doors are secure.
• Install a burglar alarm and set it every time you leave your home
• Never to leave door or car keys or other valuables in reach of a letter box or a window.
• Not to keep large amounts of money or jewellery at home.

and to Make sure your house looks occupied even when it isn’t.
