Ongoing long-term work to replace ageing water mains in Warlingham is set to enter its final stage this year.
This essential work, being undertaken by Sutton and East Surrey Water and its construction partner Clancy Docwra, will involve traffic management measures being put in place as work progresses along a 1,600-metre stretch of Westhall Road.
This final main laying work is scheduled to start this week Temporary traffic lights will be manually operated during peak hours to maintain two-way flow.
Once the new main is laid and tested, connections to individual properties will commence. The project as a whole is due for completion early in 2015.
