12 students from Crawley are graduating from a course held at Crawley Fire Station.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service have been running ‘FireBreak’ – a scheme to help young people aged between 12 and 14 years learn in a practical environment outside of school.
The students, from schools throughout Crawley, attended the firestation over five consecutive days, working alongside firefighters and learning about fire safety, casualty rescue, specialist equipment as well as participating in a Road Traffic Collision impact and consequences day.
