Watch out how much waste we create over Easter this spring.
That’s the message West Sussex County Council are sending out to prevent waste by buying Easter Eggs with less packaging.
And if Eggs don’t have a plastic box that’s even better as currently only plastic bottles can be recycled at the county’s Recycling Facility.
80 million eggs are sold across the UK each year, which means thousands of tons of wasted cardboard and foil wrappers.
