Four men were arrested on Tuesday (September 2) for the theft of duty free items from Gatwick Airport.
A 22-year-old man from Rye, a 36-year-old man from Oxted, a 57-year-old man from St Leonards and a 23-year-old man from Crawley have all been arrested on suspicion of theft by employee and have been bailed until November 3 while investigations continue.
These arrests are part of a long-running investigation into the theft of duty free goods from the airport. Police continue to work with Gatwick Airport and airline operators to tackle the issue of theft and to catch those responsible.
