A 16 year old girl has been attacked and robbed in Crawley.

The victim, who lives in Horley, was walking along Langley Walk shortly after 5pm on Wednesday (17 September) when she was approached by a man who asked her the time . He walked with her to Langley Farm then struck her and stole her white Samsung Galaxy S3 phone.

The attacker is skinny, white, aged 18 or 19 and was wearing a grey hoodie and had a distinctive yellow belt.

Sussex Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area or who think they may recognise the attacker from the description.
