An investigation is underway into a road rage incident in Crawley.

The driver of a black Toyota Yaris is believed to have gotten out of her car at the Bonnets Lane junction with Lowfield Heath Road.

She reportedly approached the driver of of a black Mini Cooper and punched her in the face before pulling her out the Mini by her hair.

The attacker then got back into her Toyota and drove away from the scene just before 6 o’clock last Monday evening.

The 23 year-old victim was left shaken but did not require medical treatment.

The Yaris had followed the Mini for some minutes from the Langley Green area, beeping and flashing headlights, culminating in the assault in Crawley.
