A man from Redhill has been injured following what is believed to have been a shot fired from an air rifle. Officers were called by hospital staff after a man presented a single chest wound believed to have been inflicted by an air weapon on Tuesday evening.
initial information suggested that the man had been assaulted in Redhill Memorial Park but it has since been established this is not the case
Officers continue to urge anyone who has information on how the man received his injuries to contact them on 101.
