An investigation has been launched into a house fire in Broadfield.

The blaze broke out just after 9 o’clock last Saturday morning (14 March) in an empty building. Extensive damage was caused and the lives of residents in adjoining homes were also put at risk.

Police are seeking witnesses to this incident which is being described as an arson attack.
