East Surrey Hospital has been recognised for its efforts in supporting people with disabilities.
The hospital in Redhill came first in the category ‘Pulling It All Together’; part of the Surrey Choice ‘Employability – Making a Difference’ Awards.
37 year-old employee Gavin Jackson from Smallfield was presented with an award for ‘Outstanding Achievement’. Jackson, who has a hearing impairment, took up a job in the hospital’s post room just over a year ago.
