A man from Redhill is behind bars after pleading guilty to robbery.

22 year-old Dene Fredrick Searle has been sentenced to 30 months imprisonment.

Searle is believed to have lured his victim to his home after meeting him in a pub.  The man was then assaulted, suffering cuts and bruises to his face and torso.

His headphones, sports bag and cash were then taken.

Searle was given a 21 month sentence for robbery and a 9 month sentence for assault (ABH) to run consecutively.
