Elections for the first ever council of governors for Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust have been held.

19 people were elected from a strong field of 84 candidates.  They are joined by a further 9 invited partner governors.

The council of governors plays an important role, linking the Trust to the communities it serves across east Surrey and West Sussex.
