A new entrance and access road into Tilgate Park in Crawley will open on Tuesday (28 July),

This will reduce the number of visitors travelling through residential streets in Tilgate.

The £1m project has seen the existing emergency access widened to become the main vehicle entrance into the park when it opens next week.

A new cycle path has also been constructed.

Other improvements include extending the main car park and introducing new disabled parking areas together with improved coach parking.
