Surrey Police have released CCTV images of two men they’d like to speak to in connection with a courier fraud offence in Tadworth.
The incident took place at an address off Preston Lane at some point between 10am and 11.30am on Friday, 10 July.
The victim, a man in his late seventies, received a telephone call from the alleged fraudsters. He was asked for details of his credit cards and other bank details and then another man claiming to be a courier sent by the bank called at the address and collected the victim’s credit cards.
The cards were used later that day to withdraw large sums of money from several of the victim’s bank accounts.
Police are keen to speak to the two men pictured in the CCTV stills on the Surrey Police Website as they believe the men may be able to provide vital information to assist with this on-going investigation.
Anyone who recognises the men or with any information on the fraud should call Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference 45150059829, or call independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously 0800 555 111
