A 19-year old Horsham man was arrested on Wednesday (26 August) on suspicion of the rape of a 22-year old woman.

The attack took place on a footpath near St Marys Church in Horsham in the early hours of Sunday the 16th of August.

Following interview, the man was released on police bail until 20 October while enquiries continue.
