An investigation has been launched into a fatal collision near Horsham.

A 51 year-old pedestrian from Horsham was pronounced dead at the scene after being involved in a collision with a white Mercedes Benz on the A264.

It happened shortly before 1 o’clock Sunday morning.

The 42 year-old driver was uninjured.

The dual carriageway was closed for 10 hours whilst investigation and recovery work took place.
