A man’s recovering in hospital with a serious head injury following an assault in Crawley.

Paramedics and police were called to Broadfield Barton around half past one on Wednesday (November 11) where the 56-year-old local man was reported to be lying unconscious with a head wound bleeding heavily.

He was still in hospital yesterday (Thursday) morning where his condition was described as stable.
