Six schemes in Surrey have been awarded money to ensure they continue to provide a long-term benefit to their communities.
Surrey leader David Hodge set up a Community Improvements Fund three years ago and this latest group of community projects have received over £150,000 between them.
The successful applicants include Old Reigations Rugby Trust which has received £20,000 to assist in the creation of new rugby pitches, and Tandridge Leisure Trust has been awarded £30,000 for the refurbishment of the swimming pool.
