Investigations have been launched into two fights in Crawley which police believe may be linked.
The first incident occurred last Wednesday in Queens Square. The 22 year-old victim required hospital treatment after receiving cuts to his head, hands and shoulder.
One suspect has been described as black, 6’ tall and of skinny build, and he is thought to have run off with the victims’ wallet and smart phone.
The second incident happened in the High Street the following day (10th March). Witnesses reported seeing four men fighting however the group had dispersed before officers arrived.
A 43 year-old man and 18 year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of affray and released on police bail. A 22 year-old man has been charged with possessing an offensive weapon. He has been remanded in custody.
