Crawley Borough Council will be celebrating the Queen’s 90th birthday by lighting the beacon at Tilgate Park on Thursday 21 April.

The beacon will be lit at 7.30pm and the council’s inviting residents and members of the local community to join them to commemorate this occasion.

The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, will light the Principal Beacon on 21 April at Windsor Castle.
