Surrey and Sussex Police have acquired four new state of the art drones.

The Aeryon SkyRangers will add to the existing one which has been used to support policing operations at Gatwick for the last two years. The existing drone has already helped with missing person searches, airport security and crash scene investigations.

Thirty eight operators have been trained to Civil Aviation Authority standard.

The new drones will now be deployed to various police teams throughout Surrey and Sussex for a three month operational trial.
