Reigate & Banstead Borough Council have submitted a planning application plans for a new multiplex cinema, restaurants and shops in Redhill town centre

Plans for the multi-million pound complex include a six-screen cinema and up to eleven shops and family-style restaurants on the ground and first floors.

The scheme will also include basement parking for residents and a new pedestrian route connecting the High Street to Marketfield Way.

The development will replace the Council’s Marketfield Road car park plus twelve shops with offices above in the High Street, opposite the main entrance to the Belfry Shopping Centre.
