Sussex Police have urged people to drink responsibly, as police prepare for Euro 2016 tournament.
Sussex Police will be stepping up patrols, particularly at Gatwick Airport and Newhaven port, as large number of supporters expected to travel to France for the competition, which runs from 10 June to 10 July.
Extra officers from both Surrey and Sussex Police will also be on duty across the counties before, during and after high-profile matches to respond to any incidents of disruption and disorder.
In light of last year’s terror attacks, travelling supporters are urged to be alert but not alarmed, and to report any suspicious behaviour or activity to police or stadium officials.
