Fire stations across West Sussex showed off their sponge-squeezing skills whilst taking part in the Fire Fighters Charity Car Wash, held in September and March.

The annual Fire Fighters Charity Car Wash was one of the biggest fundraising events in the Fire Service calendar.

It was an opportunity for West Sussex residents to head down with their ‘grubby’ cars to their local fire station to help raise money for the Fire Fighters Charity.

The service managed to raise a total of £4,173.40 for the charity, From this achievement the service have received a regional award for the hard work and dedication of raising money.
