The Martlet Tree Sculpture in Crawley has been unveiled at its new location outside Crawley Library.
The sculpture, which had resided in Queens Square since 1999, has moved to make way for the regeneration of Queens Square to take place and provide a more appropriate location for the artwork.
The sculpture was cleaned and repaired off-site before being relocated outside the library on Southgate Avenue.
It celebrates the heraldic origin of the Martlets, which feature in the town’s coat of arms, and includes more than 100 tiny Martlet birds.
