A man has been convicted following launch of Sussex Surrey Police summer crackdown on drink and drug-driving.
24 year-old Adem Hasa, a cleaner from Plymouth, was charged with driving almost double over the legal limit. driving without insurance and driving without a test certificate.
He appeared at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Friday (10 June), where he pleaded guilty and was disqualified from driving for 17 months. He was also fined £550, and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £27 victim surcharge.
Since the beginning of operation dragonfly 45 people have been arrested on suspicion of drink and drug driving offences.
