Redhill Safe Haven For People in Mental Health Crisis

People living near Redhill who are suffering from a mental health crisis now have an alternative to attending Accident and Emergency or to phoning the Crisis Line.

Help is at hand with the launch of a nightly drop in centre.  The Redhill Safe Haven opened at the end of March with its official launch a couple of weeks ago.  It was set up by the East Surrey Clinical Commissioning Group in partnership with Surrey and Borders NHS Trust, the Richmond Fellowship and Reigate Stepping Stones.  The Safe Haven is open 365 days a year between 6 pm and 11 pm and is situated at the Wingfield Centre in St Anne’s Drive near to Redhill Station.
