Last Monday a couple on a day trip to Brighton found themselves helping with a sea rescue which saved a life.
David Duke was enjoying his day off from official duties as the chauffeur, attendant and mace bearer to the Mayor of Reigate and Banstead. David and his wife Sandra went on a boat trip from Brighton marina when they noticed a man floating face down in the water. Their actions together with prompt action from lifeguards from the shore, helped to save the person’s life.
David Duke told Neil Munday of his reaction on seeing the person in the water.
