12 year old Ifield community college student Logan started growing his hair a couple of years ago and refused to get it cut.
When his parents Shelley & Brian demanded he trimmed it, Logan turned to them and said “why don’t I donate it to that charity that makes wigs for children who lose their hair due to cancer?”
Logan’s Mum, Shelley called a local hairdressers, Mens Room Barbers, part of Serenity Hair Salon, to see if they could help.
Not only were they prepared to do it for free, but they were prepared to drop everything and do it there and then!
So Logan and Mum drove to Ifield parade where Kevin Irvine and Lewis Green, the barbers plaited then cut off Logan’s hair. Lewis went one further, giving Logan a great stylish new look.
The hair’s been donated to the The Little Princess Trust who provide real hair wigs, free of charge, to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
