Reigate MP Crispin Blunt says – “commuters here have suffered disproportionately from Southern management decisions” – in response to recent strikes on Southern railways.
Giving his backing to the ‘Campaign for Better Transport and the Association of British Commuters’ – delivery of a protest letter to Paul Maynard, the new rail minister, the Reigate MP said commuters have suffered enough.
It comes as Southern rail says it’ll still be operating a strike timetable, despite the RMT agreeing to call off the walkout and resume talks.
