Crawley Town made a winning start to their Checkatrade Trophy campaign on Tuesday with a one nil win over Colchester United.

This was the Reds’ only home match of the group stage of the newly formatted Checkatrade Trophy  – with fixtures at Charlton Athletic and Southampton under 23s, to come.
