The Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead will be hosting an exam for plastic surgeon specialists from across the UK. On Monday and Tuesday, candidates will come to the hospital for the Royal College of Surgeons’ exams in plastic surgery. As a centre of excellence for life-changing reconstructive surgery, Queen Victoria Hospital is well placed to test the skills of these doctors, most of whom will have been in training for seven years or more.
The Hospital’s Chief Executive, Richard Tyler, said that as well as the trainee surgeons, they will be hosting 40 examiners and 70 patients. There will be a team of staff on hand all day dedicated to supporting the patients.
Queen Victoria Hospital services will all be running as normal throughout the exams.
