A man has sustained serious facial injuries following an assault in Reigate town centre. The incident happened in the early hours of Saturday 27th August. The victim, a man in his 50s, sustained extensive injuries to his face including a broken nose after he was allegedly pushed to the ground outside Barclays Bank in Bell Street.
Surrey Police is keen to hear from the occupants of a red vehicle in the area at the time of the incident and from anybody who saw a red vehicle nearby.
A 30 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH and has been released on bail until 19th October pending further enquiries.
