A man has been handed a 4-year prison sentence and ordered to hand over nearly £5,000 in cash for a string of store break-ins and cigarette thefts across several counties.
37 year-old Jamie Channon was part of an organised crime group that targeted a number of convenience stores and petrol stations.
They would typically force entry using crowbars and steal large quantities of cigarettes in duvet covers which the group brought with them.
The estimated total value of the haul was £60,000 which included nearly £3,000 from a petrol station in Church Lane, Oxted back in February.
