Crawley’s new cemetery has moved a major step closer after work started on-site.

The new cemetery named ‘Little Trees’ near the A264 Crawley South Bypass will eventually provide enough burial space for up to 50 years.

Crawley’s existing cemetery – Snell Hatch in West Green – is running out of space.

The development is being undertaken by local contractor, Hobart Paving and is scheduled to be completed by next summer.
