Work will be getting underway next month to update 1.5km of old water main in Newdigate.

The £400,000 scheme will replace the one-hundred-year-old piping with a new, tougher plastic that is less prone to bursts and leaks.

Sutton and East Surrey Water will carry out the works in Cudworth Lane and Church Road from 5th December.

It is due to be completed by the end of June 2017.
