Police are reminding residents to keep Christmas gifts and valuables out of sight following a spate of burglaries in Sussex.

Officers are currently investigating two robberies in East Grinstead.

The first occurred on the afternoon of Monday 5th December between 10 to three and half past three. Jewellery, a camera and a laptop were taken from a property in Holtye Road.

The other burglary occurred between mid morning and early afternoon on Thursday, 8 December at a property in Edenvale.

It has not yet been established what has been taken.
