The Alzheimer’s Society is closing all its day centres in Surrey due to a lack of funding.
The service has already been cut down from 6 centres across the county to 3. The remaining ones will now be closed as the Council says they are ‘vastly underused’ and alternatives will be looked at.
Chris Wyatt from the charity says they’re not used as, “people are not able to get a personal budget to come.”
The Bletchingley centre will close in June this year.
