The Mayor of Reigate and Banstead is inviting the community to join him at a special ceremony to commemorate victims of the Holocaust and other genocides.  

The event to mark Holocaust Memorial Day takes place at 7 o’clock this evening at Reigate School.  The Mayor of Reigate & Banstead, Councillor David Powell, said that it is an international day to remember the victims of Nazi persecution across Europe, and also those who were killed in other more recent atrocities.  

Holocaust survivor Eve Gill will talk about her experience on the Kinder Transport and there will be performances from local school choirs.
