Proposals for the regeneration of Oxted are due to be discussed at a meeting next week.
Tandridge District Council’s Resources Committee will consider a multi-million pound programme to revitalise the town centre.
Plans include the removal of the Oxted gasholder making way for additional housing; an urban redesign of Station Road East and West; additional parking and opportunities for office space and business start-ups.
The programme will be supported by both public and private funding, and is being delivered by Tandridge District Council working with Surrey County Council, the Oxted Business Improvement District and St. William property developers.
