Gatwick Airport is investing in new accessibility facilities.

The airport has purchased an Eagle Hoist 4 to provide safer transfer for wheelchair users requiring full assistance to their aircraft seat. Gatwick has also invested in two hoist assisted toilet facilities.

Plans are also underway for two new sensory rooms for people with sensory processing difficulties such as autism, brain injury and dementia. These will be located in each terminal.
