Four men have been escorted off a flight at Gatwick Airport.

Police met the EasyJet plane as it landed in West Sussex Friday evening.

The men, who were passengers on the EZY896 flight from Jersey, were reportedly ‘drunk and disorderly’.

In a statement quoted by the Jersey Evening Post, EasyJet have said ‘Whilst such incidents are rare we take them very seriously and do not tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour.’
