The CEO of Rydon, the Sussex maintenance firm based in Forest Row, who recently refurbished Grenfell Tower in London, says it welcomes ‘the announcement of the Public Inquiry into the tragic incident.’

Robert Bond says he is “personally shocked and devastated by what has happened,” and that they have offered their “full help and support to the relevant authorities who are investigating the causes.”

In a statement, he says the work they did for Kensington and Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation “met all required building regulations – as well as fire regulation and health and safety standards.”
