A 14-week-old puppy is believed to have been stolen in Redhill on Sunday.
The cocker spaniel, called Mika, was being walked in the fields near the Dog and Duck pub around midday by its owner Caroline Culverwell when she disappeared.
Talking to the Surrey Mirror, Mrs Culverwell said she believed she’d seen or smelt something and ran off into the woods. After spending time looking a member of staff at the pub showed her CCTV footage of a van and two men appearing to stop and pick up something which looked like a dog before driving off.
Mika is microchipped and Police are investigating.
