The regeneration of Queens Square in Crawley town centre has been completed on time and on budget.
The fencing was taken down on Tuesday; visitors to the town centre can now enjoy the improved public square. The £3.2 million regeneration scheme took 12 months to complete, includes high quality paving, new seating and planting, and a fountain. Crawley Borough Council is now working with West Sussex County Council on proposals to extend the regeneration work along connector streets, Queensway, The Pavement and Kingsgate.
A free family fun day to mark the official reopening will take place on Saturday from midday.
