Two people have been arrested after a boy and girl were attacked with metal poles in Reigate.

It happened just before 7 pm on Monday on Ashdown Road.

A 33-year-old woman from Reigate and a 17-year-old boy from Horley are in custody on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

Police are also investigating whether a car fire in Alexander Road the same night is connected.
