West Sussex County Council Supports Dry January

West Sussex County Council is supporting the national campaign of ‘Dry January’.

Better sleep, healthier skin, weight loss and saving money, are just a few reasons for West Sussex residents to take part.  A national evaluation found that 79 percent of people who take part in Dry January save money, 62 percent have better sleep and more energy, and 49 percent lose weight.

Amanda Jupp, West Sussex County Council Cabinet Member for Adults and Health, said that Dry January is aimed at those of us who may have over-indulged during the Christmas break, and want to get back on top of our drinking patterns.
