Almost £900 has been raised for Sussex and Surrey NHS Trust by school children in Horley.
It was the idea of 16-year-old Sam Leah from Oakwood School, who for the past nine years has been treated at Redhill Hospital for double vision.
He gained support by holding a non-uniform day and this week presented the donation to the hospital’s orthoptic clinic who said they were ‘touched to receive the generous gift.’
