Local nursing staff have been honoured at a reception at Buckingham Palace.

Fiona Allsop, Maria Padfield, Chris O’ Connor, Sandhya Blakey and Selina Chandler represented Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust at the event last week.

The reception was held in the presence of the Prince of Wales and the Countess of Wessex, and formed part of the NHS 70th birthday celebrations, recognising the outstanding work of frontline nurses from all across the UK.
