Crawley Borough Council’s Cabinet has agreed plans to progress to the next stage of the Three Bridges Station Improvement Scheme.
Funding of £1,500,000 has already been allocated to the scheme from the Council’s Capital Programme. Further funding of almost £400,000 has been added to the project to improve public access to Three Bridges Station.
The project proposes additional parking spaces, an enlarged taxi rank, a dedicated public vehicle waiting area, and upgraded bus shelters. It also proposes a new eastern pedestrian access along Station Hill and a new forecourt at the front entrance of the station, offering improved access for pedestrians and cyclists.
